At NeuroNou we work to support and empower young people and their families. We help people to better understand themselves (or their child), build confidence, and access the tools they need to thrive – however thriving looks to them.
By blending the experience as a registered healthcare professional, Child & Adolescent Mental Health Coach, neurodivergent individual, and parent to neurodivergent children; we can provide support that is designed for what you / your family need.

A world where everyone can understand, value, and advocate for themselves.
Where everyone can access opportunities and support.
Where everyone can understand and support the needs of others.
Where people do not just survive systems, but thrive in life!
We understand that trying to get support for yourself or your child can be extremely challenging due to long waiting lists or not meeting referral criteria. Trying to get an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) can feel impossible due to inconsistent service provision and lack of funding. People are often discharged from services at the same appointment that a diagnosis is given, leaving many feeling confused, alone and uncertain.
Support services for young people, especially neurodivergent individuals and their families, are limited due to underfunding in England, leaving children and young people without the help they urgently need. This lack of timely and tailored care often results in increased stress for families and missed opportunities for early support, which can significantly impact mental health and overall wellbeing for all involved.
NeuroNou offers the support you need, when you need it, from a genuine and understanding professional.
As a qualified midwife for 11+ years and a registered health visitor for 9+ years, I can provide health-related support for pregnancy and the early years of childhood.
Being a neurodivergent individual means that I have a neuro-affirming and compassionate approach, fully appreciating the challenges that neurodivergence can bring.
As a parent to neurodivergent children, I can provide realistic and empathetic support to meet you where you and your child are.
Being an Emotional Literacy Mentor and Child & Adolescent Mental Health Coach (qualification ongoing) means that I provide a safe and nurturing environment for children and young people.
At NeuroNou:

We offer a personalised and responsive service that is designed with you and led by your needs (or your child’s). If needs change; that is absolutely fine; we can adapt how we work to make sure it keeps helping you or your child in the best way.

We provide expertise across multiple areas to provide holistic and comprehensive support. If something else comes up during our time or we need to include school for example; no worries – we can easily incorporate this into our work. Need support for both you as the parent, and for your child? Not a problem.

You do not have to worry about long waiting lists, or meeting a “threshold” to get support. There is no requirement to have a diagnosis or meet any criteria to access our services. At NeuroNou, we are ready when you are.

We firmly believe that support services for people should be designed to meet their actual needs. We believe that this is just common sense. This includes being able to access services easily and quickly! However, we know from personal experience and from those we have worked with that often, services can be hard to access, confusing to navigate, and typically have a long wait. We believe in changing this narrative; at NeuroNou; we are made to be different.
